Sprint's Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, Verizon's Note5 and S6 edge+ all get Nougat

Good news if you own a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge purchased from Sprint. Likewise, if you have Verizon's Galaxy Note5 or S6 edge+. All four devices are now in the process of receiving updates to Android 7.0 Nougat, following in the footsteps of AT&T's Note5, for which the rollout commenced yesterday.
Samsung has been gradually releasing this version to more and more handsets recently, and its rollouts show no signs of slowing down. As usual though, all of them are probably staged, which means it may take a few days for the update notification to arrive on your particular device. The new software is on its way, however.
After applying the respective updates, Sprint's Galaxy S6 will be on build G920PVPU4DQC7, while the S6 edge will have G925PVPU4DQC7. In both cases, you'll be dealing with a 1GB download. For Verizon's Note5, the build number of the new release is N920VVRU3CQB9, and the S6 edge+ gets G928VVRU3CQB9.
